Division of machining process of CNC lathe

Date  2021-12-02 19:11 Hits

In NC lathe machining parts, generally, the processes should be divided according to the principle of process concentration, and most or even all of the surfaces should be machined as much as possible under one clamping. According to different structural shapes of parts, outer circle, end face or inner hole clamping is usually selected, and the unity of design basis, process basis and programming origin shall be ensured as far as possible. Next, hongweisheng Precision Technology Co., Ltd. will explore the division of machining processes of CNC lathe with you.

In batch production, the following two methods are commonly used to divide processes.

1. It is divided according to the machined surface of the part. The surface requiring high position accuracy shall be arranged under one clamping to avoid the installation error caused by multiple clamping affecting the position accuracy.

2. Divided by rough and finish machining. For parts with large blank allowance and high machining accuracy requirements, rough turning and finish turning shall be separated and divided into two or more processes. Rough turning is arranged on the CNC lathe with low precision and high power, and finish turning is arranged on the CNC lathe with high precision.

The process division of NC lathe mainly considers the production program, the equipment used and the structure and technical requirements of the parts themselves. In mass production, if the high-efficiency machining center with multiple axes and multiple knives is used, the production can be organized according to the principle of process centralization; If it is processed on the automatic line composed of modular machine tools, the processes are generally divided according to the principle of decentralization.
